    Help needed choosing lowering springs.

Sorry for OT, but, not only Eibachs, also 19s from a MK4.5 TitaniumX :D Mapped as well (180-ish bop) and gave it to the wife as a babymobile ;)

    Help needed choosing lowering springs.

If we go back to the original topic of lowering springs - I can't recommend Eibach ProKit enough - it's only a subtle drop, but ride improvement is really noticeable. Manufacturer states -25/-30mm F/R, but I think it went down a bit more, maybe 30-35mm all round. Body-roll is reduced in quick...

    LY Project Cup

Agreed. So much better on my daily 197, upper mount insert, lower mount insert and gearbox mount insert - a changed car. Would advise to keep the powerflexes mate. Otherwise good luck with it, seems like a great example. Do let us know when you'll be removing Akra ;)

Clap clap clap!! [emoji122] [emoji122] Still holding myself for some pics in the sun! It's hard to swallow that oem setup can be that much improved I bet, because it is really a good setup out of the box... but seeing as I only fitted Eibachs and it made quite a difference, can't imagine how...

Drop is maybe better seen here: Completely satisfied, and the ride quality is great!

Eibach Pro-Kit mounted, while we were doing that, new top shock mounts are changed as well. Everything stiff like it should be :D Some holes in the radiator were found unfortunately, so we went and purchased a new radiator, swapped it, filled new coolant and job done. I'm liking the drop...

    200: Water leak (passenger door)

I think you need to remove the door panel/cards - there is insulation that if torn can lead to leaking water.

So yesterday went back to the crime scene :D Before spacers: After: New ass-stance :D And this somehow found it's way into my boot :innocent:

One thing to mention, is that they're much more 'hard' and bumpy on city roads, probably due to really firm sidewall, no roll whatsoever but normal city driving can be a bit harsher then on other tires.

    Branx's Black 197

Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 was the old one... uncomparable I'd say on the dry... GYs would roll much to soon, soft sidewall... haven't tried them on the wet yet, but this new AD08R is supposed to be improved against the old AD08 in every aspect, including wet - new better compound with silica bla bla...

    Branx's Black 197

What's happening here? Oh yeah, it's my summer set, new AD08Rs: Fitted, sadly without spacers at the moment, tomorrow to the shop again to get them fitted, as they were supplied with longer bolts than needed. But the tires are out of this world! Jesus when you think this car can't grip...
