Update... after changing the clutch to a Helix clutch kit and new release bearing, change of gearbox flud at a grand total of £1050..... the problem is still there... The owner of the garage has told me he has test driven it and states its the 1st motion shaft in the box that's noisy...

mines got a miltek decat and panel filter but i have used the renflash from K-tec which is great for us, no boat fares to pay :)

a mate of mine bought a new X FQ330 sst had it less than 12mths, always filling it up and could never run it in sport mode as it always hovered at high revs. he now has an 8MR for track 415bhp and 390ft lb and a 9MR FQ360 for day to day lol

cheers guys. not fitting a new flywheel, i doubt i would need one with 26K on the clock. it will be fitted by a high performance specialists, here in the IOM. basically my cup has a miltek decat back, panel filter and K-tec renflash map... with these mods i noticed a huge difference in...

I thought the quality of the welds were shocking ... i wouldnt buy a miltek again if i had the opportunity. Saying that it does sound good but not as loud as i hoped. I added the decat in the end and when hot and running octane booster you get some awesome pops and bangs. i got mine...

i gather that everyone is using a standard clutch. I have ordered the Helix one from K-Tec, so will post my thoughts on it when it gets done. £1K clutch change is bonkers though

ive never had an issue apart from my Mk1 escort and that was due to pedal box bushes being worn. I always H&T regardless of the speed, even in the works diesel laguna estate lol

its too slow for a big car and **** brakes too, id want at least 40-50 bhp more and decent brakes rather than the legacy 2 pot sliders
