Whislt I’ve been looking/working on the car I’ve noticed the rear pads were exceptionally low, so ordered them from Ktec and they arrived yesterday.
So having a bit of free time today, I thought I’d change them.. so go to my toolbox to grab my wind back tool and recall lending it to a mate and it hasn’t been returned. Anyway, looked at the car to find the piston wedged solid and the dust seal torn in half.
So have now ordered a pair of rear calipers from RPD today, hopefully they will be here tomorrow. Will get them fitted with the new pads (DS2500’s) then still have to bleed the brakes, fit the new clip to the osf out cv gaitor, new pinch bolt to nsf lower ball joint, then set the ride height and get the geo/tracking done. Then hopefully get the car mapped.

All being well snetterton on the 22nd is still a possibility, fingers crossed.
 
Well had a few hours on the car today.
New rear calipers and DS2500’s fitted to the rear.
New cv joint clip fitted
New lower ball joint bolt fitted
Bled the brakes as the whole system had been emptied, new braided hoses and front calipers rebuilt. So in with some RBF600.
Coil overs adjusted for ride height, rear seems ok, front needs to go lower.

All I need to do before Saturday afternoon is adjust front ride height, geo and tracking setup, and mapping, so fingers crossed should make snetterton Sunday.

Cars been in for geometry and tracking to be sorted, feels much better although the front needs lowering a bit more.

Rear tyres are rubbing over heavy bumps on the road, although all four coil overs are set on fully soft, so will add some stiffness and see how that goes.

What did you use as a guideline for ride height? I think mine could go down another 10mm all round

What sort of speed you doing round there before the coil overs?

You probably need some nice 197 cup recaros. :wink:
