Trackspec Clio 197

Looking tidy! How long have you got the front rotors? Did you have to replace them at all?

Nicely held by the way:thumb:

I’m not sure how long they’ve been on it as I bought it with the PFC fitted but they will be for scrap by the end of the year. They are still within their limits though. The rotors are very expensive on them and I could buy a complete brand new set up from a different brand for much cheaper.

That's why I asked. I was lucky enough to have found replacement rotors from a racer mk4 clio that were slightly used for peanuts! I think they were £150 or something stupid like that, brand new ones cost £550? I was just thinking for the future..

To be fair though they are expensive for a reason. I've used some very aggressive pads through the years and I've properly abused and they lasted much more that a different/cheaper setup would have done.

That’s a bargain mate!! Yes you’re right there is a reason they’re a lot more expensive. The stopping power is phenomenal with the CL RC6 pads and the rotors have taken some proper punishment for a long time and still not terribly bad. I can’t remember what the maximum wear is on them. They are 28mm new not sure what the minimum is, any ideas?
