Matt's track/nurburgring RS250 Clio f1

Remove the rubber strip at the rear of the bonnet to allow the hot air out. That'll help reduce under bonnet temps.
Also, make sure the rad and intercooler are shrouded to make the air go through them, rather than spill over the surface.

This is what I did to my radiator and it improves the efficiency massively. IMG_1452.JPG

as above..remove the scuttle seal..helps massively..you could get an alloy rad from ebay..i managed to get one from a member on a megane forum and its great.never goes above 99 no matter what..also fitting a low temp thermostat from engine dynamics helps..
Sean already mentioned it but spending £40 for a scan gauge is well worth it..

Cheers chaps, I already removed the rubber seal and will be looking at thermostat next I think. As far as im aware it's bled right.

Cap off
Start car
Undo top nipple until fluid come out
Same for lower bleed point
Heaters on and cap on up to temp
Let cool and add coolant if needed.

As for the fans yes I'm 99% sure both speeds are working

How's that bleeding process sound guys?

Get the car up to temp before opening the bleed nipples, that way the thermostat is open and the coolant is flowing around the engine.

So ring prep done today! Removed the runners off the passenger side seat and fixed it to the mounts like the driver's side so no flex at all. Check of all the hoses etc and another rebleed of the coolant system just in case. Removed the fogs for a little more air flow and have ordered non sport grills to cut out again for more flow.fe9b4f1ffcd0c268ba150101821d79d3.jpg04c56e033ec8b74350fe6bea6512211c.jpg

Lovely car but why did you take the stickers of bud :-( looked so well in the red with the door decals in the first page.

im surprised you were having temp issues..i run A/C,which means 1 more radiator in front of the engine one,and there are no issues what so ever..anyway,hope all goes well and you will enjoy chasing some more powerful cars :track:
