Would 15ml of C4 be enough for front RS Splitter, both Cup Spoiler end plates and rear diffuser? I know a little goes along way.

Yeah you should blind it mate.

15ml of C5 does 4 x 17" wheels inside and out, and I reckon the surface area of 4 wheels is more than the aero parts you need to do.

Its ridiculously good.
Just a product that does exactly what you want it to do.

I drove 10k miles over a year, through all weather, come rain or shine (plenty of gritted roads and snow too) and never had to use anything other than shampoo on my wheels at the weekend when washing.

C5's melting temperature is around 350degC which is enough to stand hot brake dust, i found it just didn't stick.

I'll try and dig some pics out.
For £22.50 just buy some.
Prep is key, nice clean alloys wiped over with IPA or panel wipe before application.

I get over a years durability out of one application.
I took the wheels of and actually just topped them up with Gtechniqs C2v3 spray sealant which kept them going for another six months when I sold the car.

This is a pic of the wheel after a standard wash taken on 7th September 2015.
11 months after initial application !
Just a bit of rusty water remains on the inside of the wheel from it dripping off the wet brake discs.



Below pic shows wheel simply wiped over with quick detailer.

The formulation of C4 and C5 is very similar.
For example if you ran out of one, but had some of the other, you could use what you've got remaining.

C5 is great to protect exhaust tailpipes too.

yeah you should be fine..i used G5 on my 4 wheels and did them 2 with 2 coats believe or not...

Yep as LOCKE says, its Isopropylalcohol

I would use Gtechniq's PW Panel Wipe instead. Get a small bottle, you hardly use any.
Its cheap enough, and the perfect strength in preparation for GTechniqs crystal lacquer coatings such as C1 for the paintwork and C5 for the wheels.

Get C5 on your wheels Johnny, you won't regret it.
I've got a bottle on the shelf ready to do the gloss black wheels on the Clio once I get time to prep them.
Had them refurbed and powder coated in November.

If they need polishing yes. Depends what colour they are, (you'd notice marks more in darker colours of course) but polishing will give a smoother finish and remove any remaining deposits from the wheel.
I'd use some Iron contaminant remover, and APC or wheel cleaner, then polish, the Panel Wipe before applying the C5.
The Panel Wipe flashes off really fast.
I do 1/4 wheel at most at a time, then remove the C5 excess almost immediately.

i wasnt blown away with the c5 but ill be giving my new alloys a good coating before spa.
what are people using to apply it on to the wheel with?

These are great, I use them for C5 and EXO, and also they're great for applying plastic dressings like C4, but at the moment I've been using Solution Finish and Auto Finesse Revive.
