Matt's track/nurburgring RS250 Clio f1

Thought I'd do a progress thread for this as I'm sure it's going to evolve and progress even more with plenty of track action and nurburgring videos etc.

Some may have seen my previous red Renault Megane rs250 on social media at some stage and this is hopefully a decent successor of that car which I regret selling. I sold my Audi TTRS for something cheaper to track and this already converted car was for sale and I had to buy it. I've had it about a month.

2007 ultra red 197 F1
Rs250 engine
630cc injectors
SC autos boost pipes
Some for of front mount intercooler
Rear cage
Sabelt harnesses
Corbeu clubsport seats

This spec would seem enough for most but I had to put my spin on things so my parts list that I have fitted or ordered

Recaro profi spg (new covers and cushions from recaro)
In date schroth harnesses
Gaz gold coilovers with topmounts
Forge hard pipe kit
95mm airtec intercooler
Megane radiator

Braided brake lines
Removed the f1 stickers (sorry)
#trackobsession sunstrip
R250 MW private plate off my Megane
Black projector lights

Today we at TRACKOBSESSION ran a power to weight shoot out day at AMD Essex with a decent turn out with Brown and Greesons doing the weighing. Unfortunately the Dyno broke 5 cars before me so I cant say what power she run but the car weighed 1198kg so 198kg lighter then my Megane which was 1396kgand should be roughly the same power and torque.bd8884930a0610dcc08bfabe396f0257.jpg096d3c11ebd5a59cdd0e989630fa9fdb.jpg1ae806c6cefe10c21800e059ccac01f4.jpg

Cheers lads. Fitted a new inlet temperature sensor yesterday as I was missing it when swapping boost pipes and the car felt quick but I'm having an issue of loosing throttle when I come to a stand still so looking to fit an r26 throttle body to see if that helps

It will do, I believe the 225 ecu has trouble reading the entire 'scope' of the 250 throttle body. I think you'll need an adapter plate though as I'm sure the bolt patterns are different, shouldn't be too difficult to overcome though.

That looks lovely and seriously purposeful. Engine bay is neat, great job there. Also, Alleggeritas look the business, but I might be biased:smiley:
