Hamilton for the title with Max second. Ricciardo will move to Mercedes at the end of the season, Alonso will win Monaco and Hungary, and also win Le Mans with Toyota. Kimi will leave Ferrari at the end of the season to be replaced by Leclerc or Perez.

sainz verstappen and ocon... the future...

That would be a great 3-way battle for the championship!

I also hope Hulkenberg gets a good season soon and at least a shot at some wins, before it's too late and he ends up getting lost in the weeds.

Shock of the year, that useless twunt Jean Toad has been "voted" back into office so he can carry on doing absolutely cock all.

Should be strung up by his tiny balls in my opinion...

i prefer him doing cock all, instead off coming up with this crap ...

It's actually not a bad idea to have a standard engine format/type. Late 80's/early 90's Group C/Sportscars used F1 engines (the Peugeot 905 LM's V10 was used in F1 with only minor modifications, and a few others used an updated version of the Cosworth DFV). It would cut down costs as engine manufacturers would have a wider buyer audience, and also car manufacturers would e more inclined to enter top-level racing. All we need is for the bloody aero regs to be simplified!

'stop moaning' he says ...

something about 'pot', 'kettle' and 'black' springs to mind.

Agree with Sean to some degree. The cost cutting and further use for the engines would be a good thing. If they're close enough to do it, why not? The worst thing about F1 right now is the stranglehold the manufacturers have on the sport. Any way that could be diminished should be a benefit to me. They all have vested interests and the sport shouldn't be arranged around their marketing needs. But we're in too deep and there's no easy way out.

That said, Toad is still a world class, self serving scumbag.

As for Seb Pettel, the precious little flower... erm, yeah. Screw him.

i'd much prefer to see less complicated engines for WEC. keep it as affordable as possible for privateers, let engine builders like ilmor and cosworth back in. no restriction on cylinders or configuration, no turbos.

wait, do that for F1 as well. in that case, a big yes from me too.

agree 100%. a couple of weeks ago, i tried to sit out a 20 minute video about F1 front wing dynamics. clicked it away after two minutes. couldn't be bothered.

There was talk of allowing active suspension again for 2019. It actually makes sense, as if they use a standardised system which the teams can set up by fine-tuning the software, it removes the massive cost of suspension systems like FRIC etc.
I would like to see at least 26 cars on the grid, with the FIA putting a contract out to tender for a standardised engine, chassis, and aero parts in order for small privateer teams to enter. They can then develop them as and when they wish. It would also give younger drivers more of an opportunity. Or alternatively, give the manufacturers incentives to fund and run smaller junior teams.
