You should try an Aberdeenshire accent Ben, even the Glaswegians struggle with that. My Grandma was from there & if she got excited my dad couldnae understand her! Also in the north of Aberdeenshire they can struggle with my English accent.

My wife was living in Peterhead when we were going out. I'd flown to Glasgow to meet her there & taxi driver asked if I was up on business or pleasure. Told him I was meeting gf from Peterhead & he asked if I could understand her. Said he put subtitles on TV when watching folk from there, especially fishermen. Ok though, she grew up in Hamilton & has S. Lanarkshire accent!
