@Marsch ... it's not that hard to do yourself. all you need is something like this ...

I actually know how it works or better how it should work by now. That's because the mechanic of the "free" garage was so kind to make a drawing of the tool and the clamp for me to explain the problem. He also showed me the "service hole" where the tool has to go in. After I got it switched by Renault they told me the clamp was sitting so tight that they needed two people to get it off.

But I'd never do such things on my car as I'm not really qualified for things like this. Especially in this case as an airbag is involved. The guys in the "free" garage told me they just detached the battery and waited about an hour before they started working so the capacitor of the airbag had time to "unload". The guys at Renault told me that's BS and doesn't guarantees that the airbag won't go off. The real way is to have it programmed "out" for the work.

Actually not that much. At least at the moment I'm happy with how it is. Maybe a remap, a K&N filter and some other smaller things. What I'd like to get are some AD08Rs for the next year but they unfortunately aren't available in 215/40 R18 from what I get which either means a set of new rims or going for wider or larger tyres but I'm not sure if these will fit the original Interlagos rims. Besides that I'm afraid they may rub.

I found your thread already and while I've to admit that the carbon looks great I'd never put it on my car. That's A) because I'm generally not such a big fan of carbon fiber in general and B) because of problems like you had with the clear coat. Plus the cost issue of course. I'd rather use that money for trips to meetings, trackdays and so on.
