Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

Honestly, it was an absolutely inspired choice and has really made me rethink what we should do.

Really ? Mine are as plain-Jane as you could get ! Why aren't you sure any more / now ?

***And just to report. The "bunching" on the shoulders appears to be smoothing out slightly if i'm not mistaken. Even on the passenger side that no-one has sat in yet. Weird. Like having a living animal beside you. Well; almost

I personally really like the bunching, makes it look plush and makes me really want to fall into them! Have you mastered the 'Recaro swing' to get into them?

At night the car lives in a Persimmon homes 'garage' (I use the term loosely) as although you can get a car in there; it's only just.

It used to be called the Clio shuffle in my mind; trying to eradicate yourself (That's the hardest one to do hey) without banging doors, scraping feet on sills, rubbing your ass across bolsters etc etc.

But yea. I've taken it a stage further now. I'm quite a tall chap, and i must look like John Cleese on acid, because if i don't - i certainly feel like it !

Started reading your thread only managed to get to page 8 pal. So much in depth stuff on here. Awesome stuff see if I can get a few more pages read tonight

Happy Birthday Shuv, many happy returns!

The seats look fantastic - as said before, very pleased for you that you're happy with them. It's not often that you see someone who is 99.9% there with how they want their car, so much admiration to you for that. Dedication to the cause

They look really well mate! I'm only getting that they are grey now! Lol, doh! Don't know for why but I thought they were black and it was just the light playing tricks! Really nice colour that and unusual! Reminds me of the colour of the interior of the 911 c4s I had about 10 years back! Can still smell it's interior

Lovely, health to enjoy

Nothing major mate. It's just that I love the grey so much. I'm really rethinking the black. Obviously I don't get the final say but it's definitely going into the mock up!

They're going to settle in I'm sure mate. But the point is, they look bloody spectacular.

Leather was from Robert (?) Muirhead who have a website. Colour was 'Anthracite. A reasonably dark grey in essence....

Didn't realise you were planning all black ?

I was considering all black... but now I have things to think about and to put in front of Mrs M to see where the all important vote goes.

Good thing is I have lots of great shots of your car to show her!

After a morning with the wife in sunny Great Yarmouth sampling the tastes of the sea-side; i got back to a little bit of this and that on the Clio this avo.

I'd ordered some of these off ebay to renew a few manky looking / dodgy-working clips:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Primastar-Interstar-wheelarch-bumper-front-grill-panel-clips-X10-S5104/253104678260?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

....and they did the job perfectly and were exactly the same size / fitment / working's as the originals.

Then onto the more serious task of getting the airbag light off after the seat swap. I'd bought some pucka insulated and fused resistors 'just in case':

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALL-OHMS-SRS-AIRBAG-RESISTOR-RESISTORS-0-25W-2-AMP-FUSED-BYPASS-FAULT-LIGHT/261530083984?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&var=560405945962&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

But really wanted the airbag lights now showing disabled via 'Clip' in order to do it 'properly'. A couple of posts here and the super-helpful @JamesS offered his services.

So off i toddle the 35 miles to Diss,Norfolk and James promptly hooked his laptop up to my car via the OBD port; worked his craft and sorted the issue in double-quick time.

And let's just say that the most-modest James; who works at the very pinnacle of electronics in regard of every Motorsport discipline in the World was quite possibly the most over qualified and experienced man for job you can ever imagine. Super guy and i appreciate your time and effort hugely buddy. Thankyou very much - i owe you a couple of cold-one's WHEN you come on that East Anglia meet

And for all the haters of what i've just done: Recaro seat cover for work use is now in place - as after a few days off i have to go earn a crust tomorrow. Despite picture (?) the fitted cover sits really well on the seat and is as good as i've seen and is barely noticeable in use. Nice work.

***Anyone tell me what i'm supposed to do / how the two fixed elasticated 'loops' at the sides are supposed to fit to or around ????

Cripes - you stayed around for the long-haul then buddy !

Thankyou very much. I'm just an over-thinking serial tinkerer with anal tendencies; who happens to be a petrol head :sunglasses:

So; you've had CS's previously - but never again ?
