Micah's Glacier White 220 Trophy

Good to meet you at last Jimmy, must admit you're not too different from us Kings Landing folk
I never win at raffles, so was worthwhile me hanging around - demolished the Celebrations on Sunday evening. Just need to find a spare Mk4 wheel and I'll get it trimmed in alcantara.
Have to say, I am ITCHING to get the Trophy on a track, was rather jealous of the afternoon lot.

It's a pity you didn't get over first thing, they were offering the morning session for £50, which was a mega bargain!

Been away for the best part of 10 days in Lanzarote and missed the Trophy like crazy, I was actually counting down the hours to landing at Gatwick!
Had some good blasts on the motorway since being back, and still can't resist the odd RS mode moment. MPG suffers but seriously, I couldn't give a shit, it sounds sooooo good!
I took some pics today for @sevenfourate post on the interior/engine/exterior thread. Thought I'd add more here just because

A hoover and microfibre can do wonders for one's surroundings...

The Mk4 profile has grown on me MASSIVELY!

Thanks matey - yes, standard cloth seats.

I thought they were a superb shape and very supportive. Not sure what the other options are - but i wouldn't want any more and it wouldn't sway me personally if i was looking.

The only option is exactly the same seat in leather. The newer Trophy's were sparse and over my budget for those with leather equipped, but had no issue with having cloth. The upper bolsters are superbly supportive, as you well know.

Browsing Facebook last night, I came across this kit from Engine Dynamics for sale - brand new and for £100 inc. postage.
After thinking it over today, @///M told me if I was unsure, to give ED a call, so I did!
What can I say - Andy is extremely knowledgeable and honest - he told me not to waste my money unless I was having a map. I don't fancy losing my warranty, so I'll just keep the car as it is with a K&N panel filter. In fact, he said there's very little, beyond a map, that's worth doing to a Trophy, it really is that good a package as it is. I even asked him about the recirculating dump valve (me want chatter) but he said any kind of dump valve is a waste of time on an EDC, and any noise you want will really need an open filter - more wasted money! I think my savings have just breathed a sigh of relief following that call.
However, due to the restriction that the 200T has to the turbo, this might be something @Chris or @Chris_200CUP (or any other 200T owners - potentially @nutnutwelshman if he's having a remap) may be interested in... let me know and I'll send you the guy's details on Facebook.

Boss of a company telling you not to buy one of their products. Says a LOT about the sort of business they run over there.

Good stuff mate.
