Big Bens non Clio

250 turbo and 630cc injectors too then  Make sure you go for the 3" downpipe and linkpipe - mine were 2.75" and combined with the clio cat-back were holding the power back to around 280bhp.
3" downpipe and de-cat pipe going on as well as 630cc and re-map. No turbo upgrade yet!

Edit: holding the power back to 280 lol

And so it begins! Hopefully costs will be kept to a sensible amount Ben and you won't have to keep forking out - I imagine that's a fear for anyone who's going down this route.... Although I'm sure there's enough info out there to know what to expect - good or bad

I can have a simple meg conversion Jimmy no problem well inside my budget.
It's the spending now on extras to save labour down the line that's going to put the pinch on. One things for sure though mate. It's should get down the road pretty quick once it's finished:grinning:

And that's totally what it's all about mate! I have big admiration for anyone who goes down this route, and probably a touch of envy when they have so much boooooost under the bonnet

Or anyone else...
What did you boys do with the standard recirculation valve on Meg?
Leave it on or upgrade to a Forge or dump valve etc...?

dont put a dump valve on. Just a upgraded recirc so it holds the boost better and you get some flutter. Sounds like you run over a turkey.
unfortunately the akrapovic on mine sounds like darth vader having an asma attack so i cant hear it that well
Don't fancy a dump valve. Loving the description of your recirc akra combo though:grinning:

Recirc valve doesn't help hold boost, the actuator does. Recirc valve directs boost away from the compressor when off throttle to stop compressor stall and subsequent damage to the compressor. It's basically a dump valve except it doesn't direct boost to the atmosphere like a dump valve does.

o right. I was told to that it holds the boost better especially when mapped hense why i have one fitted.
learn something new everyday :tearsofjoy:

from what I heard the recirc valve is good for holding the boost.even Paul said it when I was at RST..i would spend my money on one if I had the money..still waiting...but a standard one is fine too Ben...

Cheers Pav. How'd the Witch go on the run to Wales?

There's always two budgets Mes. The original budget that the missus has agreed to...
And the top up cash budget that I shamefully hide from her so I don't get my nads ripped off:grinning:

Had to chuckle at that mate. Know the story!
