Well after a couple of day visit to my local detailer the car is back looking fresh. I hadn't had the chance for a good wash for a while but even still it was embarrassing how much fallout he got off it.

If you dont mind i borrow your pics for our local car detailing facebook community..

Sorry with the fall out is that just wheel cleaner strayed directly onto the paint?

Looks gorgeous, although you should be ashamed of the amount of fallout! :ban:

I am! I haven't had the chance to give it more than a pressure wash in ages. Got a 3 year old and a 6month old baby to blame for that [emoji42].

Help yourself to the pics, got a few more to put up in a moment too. I think it's where I have to park at work, I work at an airport and have to park behind where some planes sit with their engines running so the car is right in the firing line. Plus there's also a metro line that runs not far from there too.

Any idea what product was used? Looks good!

It's all gtechiq stuff, it's been done by him before but this was a long overdue top-up after some paint work too. It's a bit pricy compared to others but in my experience it's well worth the extra if it's applied properly.

Excellent, thanks! Really impressed with all the gtechniq products I've used so far so I'll get some of this. [emoji106]

Car looks stunning Peter. VERY nice !!! Now to keep it that way-ish.....

Those fallout pics are something else though. You've set the bar high there

Great work Chris. Is that colour-scheme what they call rural-Camo ?

You are forgetting that I'm from near ipswich, and ipswich football club are the tractor boys, I was just supporting my local community!

Sorry replying to an old post, curious to know did they just use the iron out product straight on the car before washing it of ie jet wash or snow foam?

Another over-thinker

The dilemma being:

1. Do you wash it yet again first, and risk dragging the known heavy fallout over the car. Again. And of course more scratching / marking.

2. Or just apply the fallout remover to a dirty car; when if it doesn't remove everything - you'll then be cleaning a somewhat soiled car and then machine polishing etc a car that still likely has fallout embedded in it....

I went option 1.

I'm not sure to be honest. Looking at the ground around it I'd say it's been at least snow foamed and pressure washed first.

Thats true - it must have been really bad then, I know if you didnt wash it or foam it first it can go like this - its the trick companies use when showing off their De iron products.
