Aftermarket steering wheel

There's also the Sabelt version which I think looks amazing every time I see it.

Or a cheaper option is to get a retrim at Royal Steering Wheels. Superb quality and retains all the OEM stuff so no arsing about.

An alcantara wheel will last a lot better than your standard Renault one, that's for sure. They do go smooth after a while but I have one that has seen 45k miles and is only just needing attention.

Yeah the Sabelt one is really nice isn't it. I've already bought a used ktec boss kit for really cheap as i fancy a slightly smaller wheel.

Hmmm too many to choose from lol

In that case, I'd look at Momo Tuner. They look a bit bland in wheel only pics but in the flesh they're well nice.

Probably going to end up putting one on the Lotus.

Doesn't look too shabby, haven't wired in my horn yet though, also my clocks have stopped working completely which I'm slightly confused about.

Yeah it's a lot nicer than the cheapo Renault wheel. I'm a bit annoyed that my clocks have stopped working though, maybe a blown fuse or something

Massive improvement mate! Definitely want one!

Shame about the clocks. Hope it's an easy fix!

Hmm decided to return it after a bit of driving, as it's far too thin for my rather large hands, prefer the chunkier feel of the original wheel.

Change my mind like the weather lol, if your a big guy might not be the wheel for you mate.

Ha, it would be for the Lotus which has a tiny and thin wheel anyway. And there's no way anyone would describe me as "big" so I'll be ok.

Shame you didn't stick with it, but if it doesn't feel right, there's no getting past that huh?
