Trackspec Clio 197

Had a great day yesterday at Donnington Park and put some real low 1:20s in which was pretty good but the car developed a serious misfire later in the day where it would splutter and mis as soon as it hit 5000rpm.

I changed all 4 coil packs and it's still not resolved the issue. It seems when it gets hot it happens and at the same time it's flagged up both "injection fault" and "ESP Fault" so I'm guessing it has something to do with a sensor.

In other news the full strip down is commencing next week with the cage due to arrive tomorrow and I have just ordered a full set of carbon fibre door cards too.

I've now began the strip down so all the interior has been removed and a couple of nice new items arrived today. One courtesy of Mark Fish and the other from one of our Carbon Fibre suppliers in France. Aiming to have everything fitted and the inside re-sprayed and finished by the end of next month.

Also currently prototyping and putting into production a number of cool Clio 197 / 200 parts which I'll share shortly.

I have the same door cards, just be mindful that they will need trimming around the door catch as well as the door pin on the front pillar. But look smart when fitted.

Hopefully you get some nice pics of the install and everything i love seeing big builds like this.
Will do mate. Unfortunately the weather has halted proceedings today but will hopefully get back on it tomorrow. I'm currently in the process of cutting out any unnecessary brackets etc right now and have previously removed all the sound deadening which is ridiculously heavy for what it is.

I am un-decided whether to weld the cage in myself or to get someone else to do it for me, it will come down to time. I'd like the car finished again ASAP. It will all be getting re-sprayed in RB inside again too.

Trial fitted the cage and door cards today.
