Hi All! Thought I'd say Hi.

I've had my wee 2012 Clio 200 Cup for just over a month now and I'm loving it so far! Its the first car I've bought just for the fun factor and I think I've made a good choice.

I've not got much planned for the car other than whizzing around A/B roads in Fife, but who knows.

Unfortunately the exhaust manifold rather spectacularly disconnected yesterday so I'm having to take it back the dealership to get fixed. Hopefully they'll take care of it without too much fuss.

Lovely photos buddy ! WELCOME to the forum.....and ownership.

Lots and lots of £££££ for a genuine Renault manifold. So will be a lovely part to get renewed

Enjoy.............

Thanks guys. There seems to be a nice wee community around these cars.

Come to think of it I have done a few things since I got it. I replaced the worn mats and installed wind deflectors (to help with the lack of a/c . The centre console had some cosmetic damage so I replaced that with one I bought on the internet. I got a stone chip on the windscreen so I ended up getting that replaced too. I only had to pay the insurance excess and I've now got a nice clear windscreen so not too bad.

Its inconvenient that the manifold broke but I'm glad it happened within the warranty. I'm very much looking forward to trying out the new manifold as the old one must have let a few horses escape

Welcome! Sorry about the manifold & hope you're able to get it sorted quickly under warranty. Another member in Scotland. I'm in Inverness. We might have to arrange a Scottish meet sometime.

Welcome in Lewis. Cracking looking car and what great roads you have in Fife. As John said we need a Scottish meet, I'm just north of Glasgow.

Hi, welcome and what a great looking car.

Sorry about the manifold issues. I'd urge you to get on this immediately as they're on back order to the tune of many months!

I couldnt get the car to the dealership today as its a Fife holiday. I'll be able to drop it off tomorrow though. If they attempt to weld the existing manifold back together will it just break again?

welcome along..sorry to hear about your troubles..
pretty sure they go again..its just a matter of time really-sorry to say that...
