Hahahahaha. Love the strikethrough mate. Still can't get used to it being a "him". Girl's car, what can I do?

Yeah hopefully the end of it. Still needs mapping. I'm sure the ECU has been given a lot to deal with recently. Hopefully it's just learned "oh yeah, this is much better" and we can just get on with it now.

Ha, it's always going to feel weird a guy calling a car 'him' :smile: but as yours is a girl's car, you can't really argue with it :wink: Hope the ///M is a lass :smile:

Fingers crossed that's all it is, Mes. You just don't need little things like that 'spoiling' the experience, not when you've added so much good stuff recently :hearteyes:

Thanks fella. If it carries on behaving we'll go and get it mapped. I'm sure that will help the experience a bit.

As for the stance, 100% function over form, it's just a nice bonus that it sits nice. So pleased with it.

@Pav @Big Ben cat is buggered. Can't see it being repairable.

Almost certainly going to need a new one sadly. One of the very worst things to fail. Really pissed off about it. It's going to be about a grand all told.

Really annoying thing is that it's running absolutely fine. It just won't pass an MOT.

Yet the road is full of VW cancer wagons that are ok. And busses. And taxis. etc. etc.

Nothing we can do though.

Pretty much mate. Well, there's another option of putting a secondary cat in the Akra but obviously that's not happening, even though it would be a fraction of the cost. It's just bloody painful mate.

Mostly gutted for Mrs M. She was dead close to having full retrim money saved up. Obviously that's going to be mostly swallowed up now.
