Small update:

Maintenance day tomorrow. Gearbox and engine oil change at Two Techs.
Also got a 2nd hand a/c condenser being fitted with a new pressure sensor in a last bid to sort a/c issues!

Later in the month I've booked a dyno test and data logging check at Engine Dynamics. Will have the car in tip top condition for Curborough track day on the 31st

Good luck with all this Ben. I'm needing a new condenser myself. Silly money being quoted by Renault dealer. Can get part a lot cheaper elsewhere but can't find anyone willing to do the work atm. Waiting on a reply from an air con specialist just now. Like you I feel that as it's fitted it should be working.

I'm paying 3 hours labour to have my condenser fitted Johnny. Bear that in mind when you get a quote bud. Be interesting to see what the North/South comparison is?

Turns out the condenser I bought 2nd hand is the wrong one. Pipework doesn't line up. Apparently other renaults use the one I've bought where the radiator and condenser are a solid unit.

I've calmed down(a little), so here's the latest:
Engine and gearbox oil have been changed no problem.
My old condenser had 3 small holes in so attempted to fit 2nd hand one I'd taken with me.

Condenser I'd bought was found to be wrong once they had it lined up. so choice was pay the garage to reinstall old stuff and replace bumper etc.. or source the correct part and leave car in pieces until new part can be sourced.

Ummed and ahhed but like always threw more money at it. Two Techs getting me a new Renault condenser at cost but won't be available until Monday
Next came the worst 3hour journey into and through and then out of London on public transport that can be imaginable.

Not a good day
