So last night me and a few mates went up to see a guy I know who has a rolling road. We took my Clio and my mates Megane R26, 2 x civic type R EP3 and a 182. All cars made expected power and mine was a bit of a pleasant surprise.
Mine made:
207.4bhp @7656r
151.77lbft Torque @5629rpm
That was with the Cup racer longlife exhaust system and sports cat, decat manifold, AC delete, ported inlet, remap and V6 airbox. I'm pretty pleased with that and the power would have kept climbing but it ran out of revs. I'm quite confident with that figure since the other cars ran consistent and expected figures so it can't be far off not that figures mean anything but it's running particularly well at the moment.
The mid range took the typical dip which is quite common with the F4R and the introduction of a set of 402 cams could help reduce that.
The Megane ran a consistent 267/260
Standard civics both made a very close 198/133
182 made 166/...
In all not a bad evening. Not many other updates at the moment but hopefully some big ones shortly!
Great power there buddy. Torque is a little on the low side though (?). Might be a dynamic of that rolling road though of course. In saying that (And perhaps a little hard to tell without being able to see the rev-counter).....your's seems to pick up the revs really well indeed. And sounds fabulous doing it
Didnt realise the Honda Civics were so low on torque !
I personally don't feel that driving-wise mine is terrible (158lb-ft after normal breathing mods and remap).....but 133 must take some gearbox stirring !

In the quest to reduce weight and still retain an OEM look and feel the ridiculously large 197 washer bottle definitely needed a diet. I looked for a way of reducing the size of the current bottle but it didn't quite go to plan so instead I looked for a smaller OEM alternative. This would also allow me to free up further room for the new brake ducting.
After a long look online looking for something that I could retain the original pipe work and electrical connector I decided to opt for a Twingo bottle since it answered most of my requirements. A little bit of fettling and a 3D printed sleeve and I now have an OEM look washer bottle which is 1.5ltrs smaller than the Clio bottle.
Not too bad!

Thanks guys. I was going to order a set of TD 1.2 which I still may do but am focusing money elsewhere at the moment.
I'm now thinking I may enter Time Attack next year as a couple of friends are already doing it and it seems like a better option than sprinting for a number of seasons. My passion is circuit racing however in order to make the car competitive I would need to reduce the weight considerably for tin tops or a similar series and I still wont get it down anywhere near to competitor car weights and I would have to up the power staying N/A to be within regulations so in reality its not an option. The Clio series is out of the question too since it's big money.
As such I have some pretty big plans for the car...

Thanks Ben. No definitely not a cheap hobby but a passion! Why couldn't I be into golf!? This is the first of a few bits coming shortly...
Started to strip the interior out ready for the cage fitting. Still have to remove the carpet and the dashboard to fit the cage.
I will be removing all the unnecessary brackets and respraying the interior in blue following the welding.
