Yam garage could be an interesting place to hang out this year.

Rossi (And im his biggest fan) will be all smiles. Until his team mates pace threatens his. The tactics will then begin and the tension will grow. Its his normal style.

I know these can be irrelevant because you dont know what they are testing are what they are doing etc, but never the less always good to see.

Vinales proved he was quick on the Suzuki. Jorge and Ducati will either be a hit or a miss even though the bike is 100 times better than when Vale rode it.

I see Stoner is still up there in the Sepang testing, fastest in day one. I really wish he could make a comeback as he's obviously still got it.

Who's getting excited

I cant wait for the race !!!!

The pre-season testing was good, the practice sessions so far this week great - but nothing beats the flag dropping.

Hard to know how my man Valentino is going to fare. Cards are always close to his chest, he's renowned for working on 'race pace' and has looked mediocre so far.

Vinales is, has been and still looks astounding. Lorenzo looks good, Dovisioso will feature somewhere; sometime i'm sure and no fool would ever bet against '93'.....

GAME ON.

I knew Vinales was quick last year but was expecting too much from him on a new bike! Well done Vinales 2 wins from 2 and keeping your team mate at bay can't be easy. Lorenzo looks like Rossi when he rode the Ducati.

^^^^

You'll never know how much i loved seeing MM in the kitty-litter Colin !

Vinales has shown himself to be fast, smart and a true racer. If he continues to ride smart and collect solid points he's going to be a very-very tough man to beat. Impossible perhaps ?

Not a fan of Cal (He makes me wanna slit my wrists he's so depressive) - but big ups to him for a great race. Fast, thinking mans ride and settled for the podium as opposed to getting ideas above his station and situation when Rossi eventually got past.

Speaking of which - what can you say about the GOAT. Pile on whatever problems you like - but he's a Sunday man when the crunch comes. Another stunning ride. He may or may not really challenge for the title; but the drive, passion and enthusiasm for such a veteran is amazing. How he keeps on re-inventing himself (And how his style in terms of hanging off the bike more has changed and become much more 'modern' the last couple of seasons) is incredible.

However they did say - these arent his favourite tracks - and Rossi's points amassed in the first two races are as many as in recent years. A really good sign...... However the issue in my eyes facing Vale is a lack of other serious contenders to steal points from Vinales and help close the gap between him and Rossi on a regular basis.

And yes - Lorenzo had a terrible weekend. Sundays 'effort' was to be expected from the practice sessions he had.......

As usual another boring Texas race. Not a fan of this circuit. Good to see the GOAT on the podium again.

Awful, awful news about Nicky Hayden. Thoughts and prayers are with his family. I've not been able to think straight today and have constantly been looking for updates. Sadly, the latest update looks very grave indeed.

Absolutely gutted. Love the bloke. Always smiling and happy and always gives it his all.

Wishing for a miracle.

Jeez-o Mes.

I saw the early report / news on the MotoGP website last night. It didn't sound great then.

A quick bit of Googling just now straight-out found me a report which was accompanied by pictures of the car he presumably came into contact with. Looks like it had hit another vehicle - not a human body.

Good luck in the hardest fight of you life so far Nicky.

Absolutely tragic mate. All that time risking your life on track only to be randomly hit by a car while cycling. Really can't stop thinking about him. Positive vibes and collective hope is all we have right now. Hospitals in Italy are really cagey about giving info too so it's going to be an agonising wait for any news.
