I thought the pics of your car in natural daylight on the grass at the meet Sunday - made it look much-much nicer than the few (In your driveway ?) that i'd previously seen. I somehow got a better overall picture of it as-such. And that's saying something.......

The brakes are pretty crazy. I always found stepping from the scenic to the Clio not a huge difference but now it feels like the scenic has no brakes!

I've been away over Easter so nothing to report on the car. Got back to a couple of beautiful parts from @sevenfourate - thanks mate, top quality as usual Have ordered some stickers to go on them before I fit.

It's been an incredible 6 months since I bought my Recaros and they're still not ready!! The trimmer has started them now but we're waiting on some of the blue leather to come from Germany. The Ferrari dark grey Nappa leather is here though and looks nice.

Blue alcantara for the seat backs looks a good match for the blue leather.

Haha, the cow must be massive by now, enough to do all the Gordinis ever made.

Originally I had planned to keep the existing seats to refit maybe in the future but that will never happen as I'll never sell the car. So I'll be putting them up for sale. They are of course immaculate and made of really nice smooth grain Nappa leather which was very expensive to match

The backs are dipped but I really wasn't happy with the finish so they're being trimmed in alcantara. Here is another set he did (slightly different blue) - ignore the slightly dubious looking speakers and amps

Your kids footprints will show up a treat in that Alcantara


Seriously. That will be a really nice way to finish the rears. Despite the above pic.....somewhat unique too !

Was the finish from the dipping really that bad ?
