Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

No mate, that's what I'd do with ours because Mrs M wouldn't let me take the back out and put proper seats in...

Rear seats out and Recaro SPG for you mate!

And the back all finished off nicely with some proper carpet and an orange logo on it...

And sod it, why not, an orange cage.

in for a penny, in for a pound...

PMPL - Your forward vision is immense Mes. Much bigger than my budget

Seriously. Chances of selling easily if i go "full-bore" ? Slim......

Fair point. Ok, just nice buckets then.

Would look good though right? And think of the fun you'd have stickering up the cage? I know you love a bit of stickering.

But in all seriousness, a really top pair of front seats would look absolutely fantastic in your car. It's the only major thing you've not done if I'm right?

Agreed on your vision  Can't knock the idea in essence........

Discounting something more serious such as Turbo, ITB's, Cams or serious suspension etc - i think your about right.

I would like to do seats somewhat' properly'. And have the money to do so comfortably. Need current drivers to hang-on a little longer hence.....

Which is bang on the right way to do it mate. You know me. Save and go big is totally the way to do it.

Breakers should turn up a cheap temporary replacement though right? Can't be much. £50-£75?

Thankyou my friend

Yes - Dale (Dystant) had been as down in the dumps about the 'ugly' look of the expansion tank for ages as me.

So i made us both one - and posted on his thread as i finished his first; before i then finished mine and pictured it in place !

Its the sludgy looking gunk that builds up in these 'we' hated. And you know what they say: "If you cant sort it - cover it up " :tearsofjoy:

Very kind offer Bro. Its not desperate. I THINK the tubular steel framework for the bolster has probably broken through the foam.

So not likely to break etc. Just not quite as nice to park yourself in; even with my 'comfort' model butt !

There's something in the air tonight. Forum love all over the place.

That's a quality offer there Ben :thumb:

Brilliant isnt it.

Fab the help we get from each other on here. 100% sure i've never experienced another forum like it..........

that carbon cover does look the nuts, as stated, there should have been a cover in the first place but I bet Renault didn't think people like us exist when they designed and said ' who could that possibly offended with the way that expansion tank looks!' lol

Cheers buddy.

Amazing how the pattern, direction and finish all 'just happened' and matched in with my inlet badge eh. What 'luck' that was

Not a huge amount happened here lately. Mainly due to the fact tomorrow will be my first day off in 3 weeks. Still, think of all those 12 hour shifts at the weekends on double-time

But:

I have fitted a new rear wiper arm and wiper, and sorted the angle out so it sits properly and doesnt get dangerously close to the paintwork coming down !

IMG_4830_zpswfb6z74l.jpg

Fitted Bright-White LED's in the footwell, boot, interior lights, rear-number-plate etc

IMG_4831_zpsduodsr37.jpg

And fitted some engine dress-up washers / bolts as per MRizzle. These are some i found and are gunmetal in colour. I've used a large stainless washer on the underside of the bonnet ones to cover the part under the original that has no paint from new (Which i touched in - then covered over !)
