Dale's Glacier White 200 cup

As of January 2017: (Prices might have changed)

£175 per bolster (Lower or Upper)
£285 for both

That's per seat, apparently it's the same price no matter how bad the bolsters are (within reason I assume) so it's probably just worth leaving it for a while and getting it done when it really starts to annoy you.

I've not a chance of my girlfriend contributing either mate so I'll have to start saving too!

I think I read somewhere direct from Renault a new complete base is ~£170, so I might give them a ring and inquire.

Much to my dismay the girlfriend didn't heed my warning of how delicate the Recaros are and after just two weeks there is now a small hole on the passengers side!!

Looks like it's time to find a new girlfriend :tearsofjoy:
Stick her in the back Dale. That's scandalous mate:grinning:

I'll be buying a set of cheap covers that i'll put on the seats when I have another passenger or when the cars off to the garage.
I can only trust myself to get them properly :chair:

A pair? Only ones I've seen on eBay are single and £250 plus £25 postage from Poland. You got a link?

I can tell you how that would play out... I'd end up sleeping on the sofa :tearsofjoy:

Dale, sorry mate, had a look and can't find it. I'm sure I saw it earlier. Maybe it's been pulled? Who knows mate, can't see it anyway.

Think about it mate, new bases are what over £500, you'll need two. Definitely. They're made of tissue paper.

You're well on your way to a proper showbiz retrim there.

Our drivers side is just terrible and has been patched up REALLY badly. I've been thinking about it myself. Half way to a retrim is hard to ignore.

They really are made of tissue paper! If, or more likely when, mine show wear I'll get the seats retrimmed in something more durable, i.e. a normal material not tissue.

I checked mine as soon as I got in last night. Steve Murr had retrimmed the bolsters when I bought them so they're still looking very good. My mate is an upholsterer so maybe when the time comes I pay him a visit.
My birthday next month, so definitely getting a set of covers!

Oh god Dale :worried: That is so crap.
This is why I have bought Capital Seat covers (I got them used by pure luck, as they are not cheap new :worried: )

I will keep an eye out for any more and let you know

So I'm planning to get a remap at RSTuning at some point, and I'm now considering getting the ITG Maxogen induction kit as this is the only one with a proven increase in performance.

Read a few threads on here but anybody got any input on whether they're worth the hefty price tag? Ideally I'd like the Carbon fibre one to reduce heatsoak but it's about £400, plus the remap were talking £750 :excited:

Not considering Ktec one Dale?
I know they get a bad rep sometimes but can't fault the quality of their induction kit. Noise is a bit marmite but definitely doesn't lose power after a remap.

Whichever you do go for I wouldn't mind a side by side comparison vs my OEM 200 to see if it's worth a remap and induction kit
