Sold the Meglio Cup Car... Now project 205...

Should be awesome! I can't wait to have a blast. It drove very badly after I bolted everything on, not surprisingly!

WoooHooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Very pleased to hear that my car has been mapped

With the reprofiled cams, airbox, decats and exhaust it has made a very respectable 204Bhp and 167lbft, which ties nicely into results from friends with 402s and the airbox!

Please let me know your thoughts, print out to come later
Nice numbers. Goes to show that the engines are pretty close to the mark as standard!

Weight loss will aid performance as well. Double win imo

Be interested to hear how you find it after the map, I'd imagine it will feel pretty epic.

All about the drivability mate! How's your flatspot? All mapped out now?

Good result and sets a great baseline for the future of your increasingly awesome car :thumb:

Should just be gone mate, tbh it was so bad before anything is better!!

It's close to a 402 map with more work to the low and mid range

Why the pause in power and torque at 4000rpm?

My printout is very similar from ED

Post it underneath for ref mate

No idea dude, I just love that it's 140lbft for most of the revs and over 150 from 4400!! Should be great for the track

It's the first time they mapped one with those cams and also has a few unusual bolt ons. Engine has been raced for the last few years too so it shows there's always life in them!

Mine actually pauses a little bit nearer 5000rpm. Still drives whole lot better than before! Ketc induction and scorpion cat back.

She's home!! With no flat spot and another sticker or two!

The remap has transformed the car! It drives brilliant, no dreaded flat spot!

Had a good chat with Andy about the map! It is roughly 402 map with more fuel down low and a little added up high as it carried on holding peak power. The extra few hundred rpm to 7700 sounds great. It's obviously a bit of a luck game when tuning an NA by bolting bits on, and he said that playing with the timing of these cams would yield more power, I can understand this! It's just a shame it's a pain to actually just adjust it :/!

It has a mean pop when changing at high rpm!

Overall the driving is transformed, it is really nice to drive although I need to get used to wringing it's neck at over 7k! Feels pretty quick for a Clio.

Cheeky teaser of the aero pack at the bottom.

Also on a side note, having arch liners again is amazing! Keeps the car so much cleaner as dirt doesn't get where it shouldn't

BHP graph at the top end is epic Josh. How well does that hold onto the power !!!!

From 6400 odd - 7700 rpm that is fabulous

I know when you've swapped bits around pre-mapping....you might actually be lower than standard (I'm damned sure i was). So when Andy claws some of that torque back and beats standard; the drive home is brilliant.

Do you have any baseline figures for when your car arrived to when it left ?

Brilliant result again buddy. Great figures and im sure its driving awesome now.

Reading this makes me want to try the R3 access setup! Lol! That consists of a different inlet cam and the timing altered to suit.

Defo mate! These cams are just longer duration standard ones with just 10.45mm of lift.

Like Andy was saying when you have a cam that's already been tested and works with the timing setup they give you it gives you a good base for it.

I won't go into adjusting the timing in any way with more mapping, just interesting to know

Hi dude,

Yes he is going to do a graph with both as it was particularly bad! Probably a concoction of everything, decats and airbox plus cams!

The torque completely dropped off at 2500 with the monster flat spot, they went lean after 5000.

Yeap it's awesome mate, takes a bit f getting used to revving like that (I know it's not much more haha) as to me it sounds like a Honda lol! With the close ratios of the 197 box it stays within the useable rev range, more so with the extra revs. Obviously haven't had it pinned in 5th but up to 5th it feels good. In Mexico [emoji1166]

Although i didnt hit your heady heights of 204bhp.....my graph was flat at the top too. So Andy raised the limit to 7750rpm.

Know what you mean about a Honda ! If your having a bad day and need to feel like your ringing the neck of something - the opportunity is there

Your's must sound epic too up-top. Enjoy !

Even better with a loose jubilee clip on the throttle body! "Ooo where did all this induction noise come from"

Well if it's works as well as the maxi setup, it should see decent improvements!
