Small collection

This was my previous before traded in for the current Clio IMG_0397.jpg IMG_0400.jpg IMG_0398.jpg Was a hoot to drive but really wish Renault gave it more than 133hp...too lacking in punch on the straights. Wanted to keep both cars but wasn't allowed lol.

Then before that I had a Mini Cooper S (R53 so the supercharged one) and before that my RS182IMG_0054.JPG
That found a sorry end due to a frozen gearbox oil slick and a kerb

Always had s soft spot for the twingos - my mate had one and they are really surprising in the corners - completely useless in a straight line though lol.

Imagine one of them with a Clio engine in it lol!

Couldn't agree more, the grip and grunt in corners was great but then the straight came and....nothing.

Ohhhh the times I wished I had a Clio engine to go in it......nope can't count them lol

Haha - would make for a pretty epic car with the clios engine in it - don't think it can be done though seem to recall someone saying it won't fit; which makes sence!

Would have thought a small turbo on it or supercharger would be pretty epic also, just needs that extra oomph in the straights!

I think it would be a very tough competitor for the 182s bhp/tonne achievement, and is even more strange as the 133 is supposedly based on the running gear/chassis set up as the Clio mk2.

Yeah the engine bay was tiny, even the bonnet was ridiculously small...when opened it looked like a letterbox.

The back seats were fun tho, being able to slide back n forth individually and recline. Not that I ever sat in them.

You've had a nice set of hot hatches then! Hope the Gordini stacks up to them all! The 182 looks greats in that colour with those dark wheels!

Apart from the Minnie, all great. Have a real soft spot for the Twingo, they just look loads of fun.

182 in the best colour is always a pleasure to see too.

Thanks for the pics of the Renaults that lead you to this point. I so nearly got a Twingo once. Still look a fun car !

What going on with the tyre sidewalls on the 182.....something been photoshopped out ?

Bet that fact attracts serial-doggers to these cars. Mark my words.

******38'000 Euro's price-tag for the Meg'd Twingo ?

Must come with 20'000 cash tucked in the glovebox i presume.......

The wheels are actually a very very very crude and rushed attempt at photoshopping them to that colour on an older Samsung phone using only the editing stuff on the phone as an idea as to how I wanted the wheels to look, as was going to be the next thing done to them before it had its accident. Haven't any other pics of it on this phone.

The mini was very much a marmite car for me, 1 it's not a proper mini since it got Germanified, but 2 that supercharger was hella fun. Hearing it scream.

Apart from the lacking in power which was the Twingo's only downfall it was super fun, unforgiving at times and really had to grip the thing by its throat and really give it some, which is what Renaultsports are all about

And yep Racing Blue 182, with stripes....ohhh Lordy

Have had other cars too in the past but these are again only ones with pics etc.

Always thought the Twingo would be a hoot! Great on some of the narrow, twisty Highland roads up here in Scotland. K-Tek's upgrade would be fun. I think they're claiming 163bhp or something like that. The "new Clio phase 2" if that is true. Yes, a Megged Twingo.....BRILLIANT!!!!

It just really needs that extra bit of oomph and again I also noticed KTECs upgrades, giving it the 30hp more, but for some high cost tho, almost the same value as what my car was worth (11 plate, 4 years old when bought it) so was like I can't justify spending that amount of money.

Megane 225 engine in a Twingo has been done, so don't see any reason why the F4R wouldn't fit!

Oh how I hope the lottery comes good for me! Yes I'd like a supercar, but somehow I can't help but feel that on Highland roads, where I live, small ones are more juicy. If you hear about a Clio powered Twingo it might just mean that my numbers came up!

Indeed me too - projects like that are really my cup of tea - bottomless wallet would be nice!

Just because!
