White Clio 200 cup pack

Hey guys, picked this up a couple weeks back.. It's a 2010 Clio 200 Cup pack. Done a little over 40k miles. Pretty chuffed i managed to pick up the anthracite pack one, don't seem to see many about! Couldn't be more happy. I've always loved the Clio from years back before i could drive as my dad owned a grey 197 and a liquid yellow clio 197 f1. I look forward to maybe meeting some of you guys in the future.. Here's a pic of my girlfriend sitting in the car just after i picked it up :tongueout:

So i don't plan on doing much to this car.. what means i'll end up doing loads. Little bits to start off with though! Firstly de-badged the C L I O from the boot, but think i like the Renault Sport badge so will leave that!

Ordered a few little bits:

RS badge for front grille.
Heko wind deflectors.
Carbon fibre spats (Couldn't justify spending nearly £300 on renault side skirts)
Bright white number plate bulbs.
2x Renault f1 team stickers.

Any suggestions on good little bits to upgrade for this car please let me know :smile:

Apologies for the terrible quality pics, will make sure to take some clearer ones this weekend with the parts listed above on the car!

AD08r's;
Oil and Gearbox Oil change;
Panel Filter

Leave the bright number plate lights out. I had issues with mine; they kept blowing fuses. Also, why would you want to light up your number plate any more :wink: Should be getting the opposite to be honest!

Popping to a garage this weekend that a friend works at to give the car a check over with him as he knows a bit more than i do! Seems to all be running fine although earlier when starting up the revs jumped up as they do and instead of settling they dropped, went back up, dropped again then eventually settled.. not sure if that's anything to be worried about? New tyres is a must at some point. They're like new the current tyres but crapy budget tyres.. I'm guessing the previous owner thought it would be better to stick it on new tyres but didn't want to throw money at it as he was selling up. I will most likely get the new badge for the boot at some point but quite like the fact you see less of the badge i currently have. :smile:

So added a few minor bits :smile:

First of all i got some Heko wind deflectors. I know some people hate them but i find them very useful!

Then the RS badge for the front grille. Still not too sure about how it's fitted.. Doesn't feel all that secure to me but hasn't fallen off yet :tongueout:
Oh and the terrible Renault f1 team sticker what will probably end up being taken off..

I want the Renault side skirts/wing but couldn't justify spending £250.. Especially when i heard you have to drill into the existing side skirt so i decided to go with the real carbon fibre spats and to be honest i'm really happy with them!

The car needs a good clean but in this weather it almost seems pointless! :worried: Over all i'm really happy with how it looks now!

So over the weekend i went to Modified live at brands hatch & booked some track time! Only owned the Clio for a short amount of time so glad to have already got it out on track! Only problem was when i purchased the car it had budget EVENT tyres all round.. pro ditch finders! The track was a greasy and to be honest it handled like it was on ice haha. But considering how shocking the tyres were i still managed to keep in front of a lot of the bigger cars! Was a good experience any way!

So now i've decided i need new tyres and decided i'm going to go with some Goodyear Eagle f1's and also want some h&r 30/40 springs!

Can anyone link me to a good place to get them from and know a rough price i should be paying to have them fitted and i'm useless at doing stuff myself!

Also plan on getting some new wheels some time soon. Maybe Team dynamics 1.2's and something that pokes out a little more to fill those arches!

Here's a pic from Brands!

Do like the anthracite pack! Car looks real tidy!

Would have thought a reputable forum trader would be worth the £1.40 :tongueout:

Cheers guys!

Just got some nice led number plate lights.. put them in but obviously didn't push one in quite far enough. Sparked when the car was turned on and blew both number plate lights and the rear left brake light. i'm guessing this will just be a blown fuse? The fuse box located in the engine bay next to the air filter or something? thanks

Fuse box is a bit hidden, its next to the battery on the right kind of tucked out the way in the corner. You have to remove the intake pipe on top of it.

Fairly simple to sort then? It's both number plate lights, rear left brake light and left side light! Bloody annoying! >.<

Well if its the fuse. I was just telling you where the fuse box is :smile:

Strange how it blew a brake light.
