Halfords have 30% (£70) off a tomtom 600 with full europe map + Free lifetime traffic and map updates as well as another £30 off via tomtom cashback offer. It means its just £129 after cash back.

To put it into context a years map update is £75 from tomtom and Traffic is circa £30 a year.

It must be limited numbers because its not available for home delivery, link to page is HERE.

Off to pick one up in an hour after reserving one.

Oh and before anyone points out you can get free maps if you know what your doing i already know that but this will save downloading the right map each time via a torrent etc. from now on i'll just have to patch the speed cams.

looks good for the money...hope its a bit more reliable than my tomtom 1 :foxspeed:

Couldn't resist sorry.

Do I win a MrVix impersonation of the week award?

Looks good, but can't really justify one for myself right now, have a 5 year old Garmin that always gets me where I want

Hang on I'll get 3 mates to join and we can all bum each other as we take it in turns in provoking arguments and slag you off [emoji6]

Ok found you CAN NOT add custom poi's, tomtom also do not support system explorer.

ffs

Pity the lifetime map updates aren't, that Renault in their hidden costs infinite wisdom are charging £55 per update for. Which to keep your map updated for a year is £220

Really? I don't think that's the case on mine being a non lux. That's a bit cheeky I would be conplaining mate

I have complained and about how sparse the R-link site is with its description of what you are actually buying as when you update your map for £55 you would expect that to be four at least a years worth of updates (4) which is almost comparable to what it would cost on stand alone TomTom satnavs (although I have now updated the one I use for work for £22 for a years worth of updates, talk about rubbing it in) and basically after two weeks of investigation got the nice version of unlucky we don't actually deal with Renaults pricing policy and will pass your comments up the chain; however, they did refund me the £55 I spent updating my map.

If the MediaNav is free life updates on mapping that's even more reason to start making more noise for RUK. I believe the latest TomTom map is V9.3 and is most likely due to be updated in October to V9.35............

Yeah thought it was free on the media Nav the only thing I miss on mine really is the climate control. If I was specing from new I think I would go no lux with climate.

Just looked into the MEDIANAV maps the last update was Q4 2013 and is £57 to buy an update for the system. So not updated as often as R-Link.:thumb1:
What are Renault playing at?
