Tims Racing Blue 200 - NOW SOLD - S2000 PROGRESS STARTS PAGE 6- COILOVERS ON PAGE 12

lovely, you liking it so far? so nearly bought one of these a few year ago, go like stink to, remember having a blast with one when i had my old cooper s (257hp) and thinking there fair quick

Look at the welding on the skunk exhaust

Pure awesome

Top work mate

I'm doing the same with my mods. Exhaust is paid for just waiting to arrive. But it will only go on when my coilies are here and new wheels and tyres

Will notice the biggest difference that way
Thanks bud. Tig welded. Quality looks super. I heard it can be a police magnet though with the noise of it but it comes with some silencers should things get out of hand lol.

Hopefully you have better luck with your new coilovers this time mate. Get a video up of that Supersprint exhaust as well

just a waiting game now. And hardtop will me made to order. Takes around two weeks.

Loving it mate. Such a great driving car. Plenty of power for me and revving to 9k rpm is nuts. Hopefully with some mods il make it even better.

If ever the opportunity arises. Seriously consider getting one. You'll love it.

Haha! Can't wait to fit it now. But waiting for the rest of the parts to arrive then for them all at once. What car did you have the skunk2 on? S2k?

So skunk2 Megapower and intake to be fitted tomorrow. Coilovers probably a week or so away before fitting. Can't wait to hear this exhaust!

I think I'm going to love this car...

S2k - Win
Grey - Win
Hard Top - Win
Coilies - Win

What's you're plans for wheels? I have to be honest, the OEM ones are a always a bit weak (common on all AP1 or AP2 S2k's IMO).

Thanks bud. Wheels are tricky. For the staggered fitment and offset of the s2k there is very little out their that will simple fit straight on. Most of the nice jdm wheels have offsets which require arch rolling, pulling or both and relocating the rear bummper tab and tbh although it will require sweet rims to be fitted just isnt worth it come resale etc as most wont want to buy a car which has had extensive fender work carried out and is perhaps now more susceptible to rust etc.

So after digging and digging I have found som Wed Sports TC105N's which (should) fit ok with maybe just a bit more camber. As im planning on dropping around 45mm it will undoubtably bring clearance issues and I just hope I can get away with those wheels.
But atm the wheels I have now are definately my favourite stock wheels on an s2k for sure. Wheels are less of a priority to the hardtop and coilovers but I'm also thinking a set of full racing bucket seats aswell.

Taking one thng at a time

Well came home yesterday to this wee parcel

Also placed an order for one of these!! Will definitely finish the front end off imo

And also had the Skunk2 Megapower fitted along with the K&N FIPK. Loving the angled tailpipes. Very jdm yO! Lol.

Rear oem trunk spoiler to follow, and for now I'm keeping the oem rims but having them finished in shadow chrome like that of BMW.
Coilovers should be on in a week or so all being well.

Then I'll be looking at a 70mm decat pipe to match the exhaust and a j's racing header more much more mid range gains and a little top end when coupled with a flashpro remap.

They would look pretty awesome ^

Not a huge fan of the S2000. Mainly because my head touches the roof. Having said that it looks like a really clean car.

Yup, they look sick! Also got my eye on a few others mainly the ssr type-c rs and some volk ce28ns and re-30s. Decisions decisions lol. But they are all wallet busters and I don't have the funds for either ATM.

Being honest the Clio has nothing on the Ep3:nope::nope::nope:
How come the change then? Just fancied a change? Obviously the ep3 has a huge plus in terms of mods out there but I would have thought stock for stock the clio would be the better car

Nice other choices, ce28s and re-30's are both nice wheels, though out of the two I prefer the re-30's, but if I were going to go down that route I'd prefer Enkei RP-F1's which look insanely good on S2000's and give them a bit more of a motorsport look.

That first pic is the very pic I have printed out to hand over to the garage when setting my coilovers to desired ride height. Looks absolutely perfect. Love those wheels though need a both front and rear fenders rolled and bumper tabs relocated to run them and I don't fancy mollesting my fenders lol.

Also considering advan rg2's, rs2 and rz. So many nice wheels I'll need time to think lol.

Also got my eye on a private plate to and a rear spoiler when funds allow.

Coilovers fitted

Well my driveshaft spacers finally arrived which enabled me to finally get the coilovers on. Heres how she sits atm. Minor adjustment still required. Think the rear should be raised ever so slightly and the fronts lowered a tad but only a minor adjustment.
Had some issues with the rear toe control arms as the original bolts on the original units have seized and no amount of persuasion will budge them. Will need to be cut off so cant do that until I get on the phone to Honda to order some new bolts.

All opinions welcome. Interested to hear peoples views on height. Raise rear and leave front as is / raise rear a tad and lower front a tad?
