Is it possible to delete rear wiper?

Rear wiper isn't checked in an mot but apparently if it came out of the factory with it, it should be there for a mot, my last car ha it removed and didn't have a problem with it tho

Yeah that's what I was thinking mate I suppose it just depends if the tester has his glasses on! Saying that the one I use passed mine before I had the cat-back when I had my centre silencer removed so shouldn't be an issue

I never understand why people do this, can someone enlighten me? Seems a bit ridiculous to me, i would have thought it is one of the most important functions on a car...

Its not needed for MOT as far as I am aware because vans don't have them. I believe you don't even have to have a rear view mirror for the same reason!

Thinking about doing it as I like the look, think it tidies up the back end.

I like the look without the wiper aswell and I tried doing mine but took the plastic trim off and saw the motor and the size of the rivets and thought forget that and never bothered doing it lol

Haha oh dead, sounds pretty much like the attitude that I take when stuff like that happens, not a good start

Lol it was easier to just put it back together than to tackle the rivets but I've seen a few clios without read wipers and they look amazing. So by all means don't do what I did and chicken out lol

Easy, just done mine a couple of weeks ago, drill the rivets as long as you have a decent metal drill bit
Its really easy, and too blank it there is a sink plug hole stoper in tool station comes in white or chrome
i got the white one and wraped it in gloss black vynil or you can paint it its 62p  cheaper than eBay use a bit of silocone too if you we're closer I'd give you a hand, it's only a 30 min job, too those that don't like it fair play each too there own,
but I just look at it like what about the cars that don't have them fitted its the same thing, although I won't lie when it rains it is a bit harder too see out the back but I live with it, it makes the rear end much cleaner

I used a BMW swirl flap blanking plug for mine, plenty on ebay (is it 33mm?) and it comes with an O ring on it, perfect size.

Black plastic, about £3
